They are now lots of scams on Neopets. Here's a guide to be sure you don't fall for them, and have a safe account. :)

Pin Number
I suggest you to make a Pin number so just in case a person gets into your account. If they do, they won't be able to take any items or well earned neopoints away from your account, unless you tell them your Pin number. Don't tell anyone your Pin number. Mermorize it, or keep it in a safe place. I suggest you use your pin number on all areas of your account.

Scams
Be aware of scams. Don't tell anyone your password. Never fall for those "Neopoint Generators" or "Auto-buyers." They are are fake. I have personally tested some out, and they just steal your neopoints, and sometimes get your account frozen.
Always check to see when you login Neopets in the address bar, it says http://www.neopets.com. If it doesn't, it's a scam, and report it to Neopets.

Your Password
Make sure your password is hard to guess. Don't choose your pets name or something along the lines of that. Make sure your password has at least one number. It's good to have a password with a symbol in it (@, _, &, *, etc), and uppercase letters.
